More than 57 international sports federations and governing bodies are headquartered in Lausanne and the Vaud canton, including the IOC, the Olympic Museum, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), UEFA, and more. François Fragnière

SMS Switzerland President, François was a professional athlete before becoming a tennis coach and working with Top 10 and Swiss national team members. He now coaches junior players at the Lausanne Golf Club. Numerous successful projects and entrepreneurial activities. complement his service at SMS.

Olivier Beyeler

SMS Lausanne Director, Olivier is the former director of strategy and deputy general director at Havas Paris. He is a corporate image specialist who has worked on communication projects for various companies, sports, athletes and teams. He was a former philosophy teacher, director of the Polycom school, and the educational director of SAWI from 2015 to 2019..

Valerie Atkinson

SMS Lausanne Director, Valérie is a sports enthusiast who has transformed her passion into a rewarding career. She is a sports events and sponsoring specialist whose areas of expertise range from World Cup snowboard contests to corporate functions connected with professional sports competitions for clients including Swatch and Omega.

Sergei Aschwanden

SMS Lausanne Special Adviser, Sergei is president of the Swiss Judo and Ju-Jitsu Federation, a member of the Swiss Olympic Executive Committee, and an Olympic medalist. Education has played an important role in his post-athletic career, helping him become Deputy of the Grand Conseil de l’Etat de Vaud (Grand Council of Vaud) and Director of the Association Touristique Porte des Alpes (Porte des Alpes Tourist Association).

Michael Tapiro

Founder of SMS and President of the Scientific Council of SMS International, Michael is an avid sportsman, an entrepreneur and marketing professor. He played and founded a rugby club before starting an agency specializing in sports management. He put all of his passion and experience into the creation of SMS.
